A good appetizer goes with almost all Indian dishes.
As kids we came up with a jingle “Veena kuth pudina chutney khani hai”, means Veena grind the pudina we want to eat chutney.Veena was a lively girl working for our family and everyone was fond of her.
- Bunch of pudina(mint)
- 1 small ambi (unripe mango) or lemon juice according to availability
- 2 to 3 green chillies
- Salt to taste
- Wash the pudina throughly.
- Grind all the ingredients together and make a fine paste.
Chutney is ready. Best served with pakoras at tea time.
Note: Add about 2 tsp of curd to it if you want the lighter colour of the chutney.
You can have this chutney along with you vegetables, dal and chappati.
